Serving the Outer Banks of North Carolina since 1998, Watkins Custom Sewing, Inc., is a full service canvas and custom sewing shop in the Wanchese Seafood Industrial Park. We offer a full range of soft goods for any size and type of recreational marine vessel. Call or email us for a free estimate. We are able to pick up and deliver goods.
Our services include boat enclosures, cushions and seating, boat covers and tops, bedding and window treatments, acoustic padded and tracked walls and headliner, carpet covers, awnings and porch enclosures. We offer custom, personalized carpets and mats by Matworks. We are also capable of highly specialized work for special projects requiring canvas and outdoor materials expertise.

The harsh environment of the Outer Banks means our product line starts with the best materials we can get. Enclosures are built with Strataglass vinyl or Makrolon polycarbonate and faced with Stamoid Fabric. We also offer the Rainier Enclosure System available in Polycarbonate or High Impact Acrylic.
Designer Sunbrella fabric selections are available for cushions as well as vinyls, leather, Majilite and Ultraleather. Loads of sample books are available for your fabric selection.
Exterior cushions are stuffed with Dri-Fast foam which drains and interior cushions are stuffed with non-flammable foam. Our outdoor products are sewn with Dupont's Tenera thread with a lifetime warranty.
